Can I fit the rack myself?

Some racks are trickier than others. Installation guides are available on all product pages. If in doubt, give us a call.

We also offer fitting services at our Blair Athol office.

How much is shipping?

Estimate shipping costs is available by clicking on “Calculate Shipping” on each product page. The final shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. We don’t add any surcharges, the price you see at checkout is the price we pay.

I recently purchased a Thule Easyfold XT2 from Roofrack World, and I could not be more satisfied with both the product and the service received from Peter. I phoned him check if he had one in stock, which he did. I then placed my order online (on a Saturday afternoon). I received an update on the Monday (2 days later) to say it had been collected by the courier. I received it in NSW on the Thursday after I ordered it, which gave us time to work out it's ins and outs before we needed to use it.
So, one week after contacting them, we had the rack on the car in full use.
I would definitely recommend Roofrack World (and this bike rack - Thule Easyfold XT2) to anyone looking to purchase.

Peter took very good care of me. I came in to enquire, should I install a platform on my Toyota fortuner GX. I currently have a set of Pro Rack heavy-duty roof racks. Peter did not up-sell me. He asked exactly what is my purpose of use. I told him it was only to install a Darche 180 deg awning. He told me that the current system is good enough. Peter checked the fittings on my roof racks and advised me to buy 12 pieces of Solid square washers to get the job done. All for only $14.00. I appreciate Peter's honesty and professionalism. Roof Rack World will be the only place I come to for my racking needs.

The sun visor is great. The guy is poke to was extremely prompt and helpful in determining if it will fit with my snorkel.

The freight company they used is dead set useless though. Direct Freight Express was terrible. The only thing they were good at delivering is bad news.

Delivery was very good however I found it funny that the platform was delivered separate from the backbone section. The delivery driver said the backbone would be delivered by a smaller van as it was a small item, it's almost as long as the platform box! Other than that the experience was great.

Couldn’t recommend this place more. Lou and his colleagues are very helpful and friendly from the moment I walked in. Lou is very knowledgeable in the product(Yakima cross bars) I want to buy and showed me how to use. The price is also cheaper compared to other roof rack shop. I bought a roof tent from other place and found it hard to mount onto the roof racks. I rang the shop and Lou was very patient and explained to me how to fix it. This kind of after-sale customer service is very impressive. Highly recommended.

After extremely helpful advice from Peter, I ordered a bike rack at 1:00pm Thursday and it arrived at my home in outer eastern Melbourne at 10:30am Friday [the next day!!]. Quicker than an Express Post envelope. Importantly, it allowed us to go away for the weekend with the bikes securely strapped to the car roof. The bike rack and shipping were cheap too. Would definitely recommend Roof Rack World.

Absolutely amazing service by David. We came in to buy a roof rack to suit our tent and awning. We did our own research and were about to spend $2k but David looked at our car and what we wanted to mount. Sorted us out with bars for a 1/4 of the price and everything is mounted perfectly and looks amazing. Now our setup is 30kg lighter than it would be and we saved so much money that we can put into actually adventuring!!! Highly recommend these guys wouldn’t go anywhere else now!
