Description

Canvas bags are made in South Australia and considered 95% water and dust proof. All bags have a 2 way zipper with sewn in tie down straps for making packing easy.

The grey DX12 Base Canvas is long wearing and easy to keep clean. All bags have a large overlapping flap to cover the zipper, protecting it against water entry through the zipper teeth. Bags then fold up, so there is no bulky storage problem when not in use.

Today, canvas remains the traditional Australian fabric selection for weather protection and recreation covers due to its excellent breath-ability, comparatively light weight, natural cotton appearance.

Care Instructions:

• The base of bags should be protected from wearing on rack with rubber lining, preferably perforated rubber to allow moisture to past through, and bag should always have extra supporting tie downs positioned over during travelling.
• Non zipper end of bag should always be positioned to the front for travelling to minimise risk of rain being driven under the flap and through the zipper.
• New canvas should be thoroughly wet before use and allowed to dry. Repeat 1-2 times to ensure sealing up of the seams.
• Clean only with cold water and soft brush, do not use soap or detergent as it breaks down the wax emulsions that provide the water proof protection.
• Ensure bag is completely dry before storage.
• Do not store directly onto concrete floor.
