The Rhino-Rack Backbone is a mounting system for your Isuzu D-Max / Mazda BT50 2020 onwards, with and without factory longitudinal rails. Connecting to your vehicle’s roof via existing  on each side, it allows for a Rhino-Rack Pioneer System to be fitted on top. There are threads under the black trim, ready to bolt on the backbone. No need to lower internal lining in vehicle.

Isuzu DMax Dual Cab (2020on) & Mazda BT50 Gen3 (2020on) RIDB2 Rhino-Rack Backbone

The Rhino-Rack Backbone is a mounting system for your Isuzu D-Max / Mazda BT50 Dual cab from approx October 2020 onwards. Connecting to your vehicle’s roof via 2 bases on each side, it allows for a Rhino-Rack Pioneer System to be fitted on top. There are threads under the black trim, ready to bolt on the backbone. No need to lower internal lining in vehicle.

For vehicle with existing factory fitted rails (Isuzu DMax Xterrain these rails need removing), this is done by loosening bolts from top of vehicle, no need to loosen internal lining. The backbone is then fixed into the existing holes, all bolts and nuts included for install. New rubbber trim provided to cover location where rails have been removed.
