Description
The Rhino-Rack Backbone is a mounting system for your Isuzu D-Max / Holden Colorado with and without factory longitudinal rails. Connecting to your vehicle’s roof via 2 bases on each side, it allows for a Rhino-Rack Pioneer System to be fitted on top. There are threads under the black trim, ready to bolt on the backbone. No need to lower internal lining in vehicle.
For vehicle with existing factory fitted rails, (Z71 Colorado and DMax) these rails need removing, this is done by loosening bolts from top of vehicle, no need to loosen internal lining. The backbone is then fixed into the existing holes, all bolts and nuts included for install.
In some situations the Dmax SX model does not have some threads exposed in the roof under the black trim. This requires drilling thru a thin top skin to locate these threads, please contact our friendly staff for options, by email.
